WOYWW #900!!

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW#900

I joined WOYWW in #576 having seen Angela's posts (Stamping with Jack).
I was in Covid isolation a lot around then... so it became quite a lifeline. However I still feel quite a newcomer when I read other WOYWWers posts! Since then I have only missed a handful of weeks but I am not so good at commenting. This has something to do with the time difference living in Australia. We moved back to Australia in February 2020. I had been back in the UK for the previous 5 years caring for my elderly Mum and Dad.

Anyway my first double-0 would have been #600... December 2nd 2020. HERE

At this point this was my craft area - a little alcove in one of the bedrooms at the rental!

These were some of the things I shared:
hexagonal tags:

Hat tags... both sets of tags were made using my Cricut which was a new acquisition in that April.

But now we are up to week 900. Some of you know that I am in hospital after a hip replacement on August 24th. Consequently I have done my best with this post with whatever technology I have available. I am doing pretty well in Rehab, duetobe discharged on Sunday.

While here... yes I have had to do a bit of crafting - a felted penguin and some cross stitch!

Have a happy 900th WOYWW !!

  2. Happy 900th WOYWW!! I’m very glad you joined up as I really enjoyed seeing your makes, you are so inventive and do such a wide variety of crafts. I also enjoy seeing your trips around Australia, always interesting to this Geography Geek!
I’m very pleased you’re doing so well after your op, you look very good, and a bit of crafting must have helped you get back to normality quicker. Hope your recuperation continues well xx
    Hugs LLJ 5 xx
