WOYWW #903

Here's my desk today:


 All you can see is a box of lace scraps in which I am trying to find suitable bits to decorate some ephemera envelopes.
 These were demonstrated by Maureen on a swap group I am part of. They are made with used envelopes that I save...





The other thing I made yesterday were some scrap busting strips that I will use in my junk journals - belly bands or pockets or something. These used some of those little scraps of paper that accumulate on my desk.


I am currently up to date with my year long tiny pieces of art. This month the theme is In the meadows at Springtime. We of course are into Spring - and some days it actually feels warm enough!

    What a great job you’ve done on all your scrap busting projects! The envelopes are clever but it’s the strips that made me happy, the paper equivalent of my fabric strip quilts!

    Happy no-knitting day WOYWW!
    And it's me back again for this week. Love the little envelop folder. I never save envelopes and kinda feel like I really should - but then my room is already overstuffed as it is so maybe not LOL!. Your stash-busting is cool too - I bet I could do the same and do the slow stitching over top. Might have to consider that. Ideas always spark from WOYWW :D
