I have used a lovely corner Swirly Heart Corner - coloured
I printed this out in two groups of 4 to form the corners inside and outside of my card, layered onto brown card. The base is a 6inch strip from a 12 by 12 scored at 3 and 9 inches.
The front closes with interlocking hearts - cut using a nesting die and distressed with 'Victorian Velvet'.
I noticed this idea in 'Quick Cards' magazine.
