I have used "Paris" to make a twisted easel card
and found lots of 'travel' embellishments in my stash.
I was still thinking 'Valentine' - and a romantic place to go!!
Whenever I make a twisted easel card I have to think which way to make my diagonal fold in my square card blank. This photo is to remind me!!
I then make this diagonal into a mountain fold and then add an extra square to the triangle that folds down to the base. I decorated this extra square like this - the DP is from my stash, the image was coloured with just a touch of Promarker and die cut with a scalloped square then distressed with 'shabby shutters'.
I covered the base with the same paper and put the stand on dimensionals:
