A Year of ATCs? - Day 151

Today I am up to Day 151 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

The image I am using today is this month's freebie from
The East Wind's Newsletter: Rose

Using Serif Craft Artist 2, I combined the image with a cloud background.
I used Chameleon pens in palest pinks and purples to colour the image, and the dies from the Tonic ATD Collection to cut it out and background layers. Finally I added some gems.

Addicted to Stamps and More...Challenge #244

Here's my CAS card...for the Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

I started with a pale grey card blank with a square aperture cut in the front.
Behind this I added a piece of emboss resist background made with distress oxide inks and a lattice stamp.
I stamped the sentiment with a couple of stamps from Craftstash and added
'Uncle' at the top. This is a handmade chipboard using a die also Craftstash, cut 5 times and layered - the top layer cut from the background.

Hope you will enter the Challenge!

IKE'S WORLD Challenges #89 and Day 150

Today I would like to show you my make for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#89) is  Anything Goes with a Twist - Happy
and this is my midway post...

If you pop over to Ike's World Challenges you will find there is a super freebie to pick up:

Laughing Horse

You could use this for the Challenge - but your image is free choice...

I decided Quirky Parrot  which you will find in the SHOP

I decided to make a set of ATCs to make you smile - each one has a parrot joke on it...
I printed the parrots on DP'coloured them with Zig real brush pens and then used dies from a Tonic ATC Collection to cut out the image and layers of red and yellow.

These ATCs are my Day 150 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

Look forward to seeing your creations in Challenge #89...

A year of ATCs - Day 149

Today I am up to Day 148 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

I came across this lovely giraffe set on the Imagine That Digistamp facebook group

Image may contain: 1 person

It is a new release and you can find it here

Anyway I couldn't resist it - and immediately made a little ATC with it!

I combine several elements from the set in Serif Craft Artist 2 on a watercolour background, printed it and cut it to size.
I matted this on some orange DP.

Finally I added a bowtie...

A Year of ATCs? - Day 148

Today I am up to Day 148 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

And Friday was my grandson's Birthday - so I decided to do some Birthday ATCs.

This is the third of three...

This has a distress oxide background matted onto a scrap of green card.
I then added the negative happy birthday and butterfly die cut from yesterday, the rectangle cut out with one of the Tonic ATC Collection dies.

Finally I added some gems...

A Year of ATCs? -Day 146

Today I am up to Day 146 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

And today is my grandson's Birthday - so I decided to do some Birthday ATCs.

This is the first of three...

The main part of the ATC uses the emboss resist technique. I embossed the Happy Birthday stamp with clear embossing powder. I then cut butterflies from this and used different distress inks to add colour to the two areas. I replaced the butterflies and then cut a section using a die from the Tonic ATC collection. I have made many Birthday cards using this same image.

The rest of the ATC is a rectangle cut using dies from the Tonic ATC Collection and one of my scraps. Finally I added a couple of gems.

A Year of ATCs? - Day 145

Today I am up to Day 145 of my 'Year of ATCs?'

I am making a set of ATCs based on book titles. During the last two days I have shown you 'The Portrait of a Lady' and 'The Elegance of the Hedgehog'.

Today I am illustrating 'Water for Elephants'.
I used an elephant image from LCDesigns, coloured with Copic markers and cut to size using one of the dies from the Tonic ATC Collection.
The rest of the ATC is a rectangle cut using another of the Tonic ATC Collection and one of my scraps.

Finally I added  the title (printed on the computer) and some gems.
