Leigh SB's 5th Annual Poe Appreciation Day Blog Hop - Day 5

First I would like to share some Poe ATCs from last year's hop:



I wrote about these ATCoins in this post.



You will find more details of this set of ATCs which reflect Poe's great interest in natural history here 

But now I have a new pair of ATCoins... this time illustrating spider webs, a spider and a bat.
I was thinking of the monster climbing a spider's web in The Sphinx.


The 2.5 in circles were cut from brown card, matted with sections of an embossed spider web, highlighted with distress ink. The bat and spider are Tim Holtz geometric dies cut in black.

  7. Ooohhh no! I just had a moment of intense anguish worry of Poe himself when I realized that, mere moments after learning of its existence, I missed this challenge by a single day. I will be watching like a hawk (err, raven) and hoping to the stars above that it transpires again next year.
