Creepy Vs Cute

Here are today's makes for Oddball Art Co - Our Oddball theme for this month is

Flowers and Sunshine

I am using the MAY MEMBERS EXCLUSIVE CALLED CREEPY VS CUTE. - images and sentiments.

Today I have made two ATCs.

(I saw a Spiky Babe on one of my friend's blogs and it amused me to make one from a Gelli pull!)

But for the ATCs...

Step ONE

Print the images  and paint with shimmery water colours. When dry cut them out.

I trimmed the sentiments and added some black soot distress around the edges

Step TWO

Prepare the back grounds. In each case I started with a black card 2.5 by 3.5 inches. I layered these with a yellow 'water colour' paper and a 'slimy' paper, both from my stash.
I added the elements as shown - in this picture you can see the shine!

Step THREE

For the extra pieces on the images, I punched them out and added them here and there trimming them to size.

I added doodling with a black pen.

You will see a similar post on the Oddball Page

So which do you prefer Cute or Creepy?

  1. Definitely cute over creepy! Love your spikey baby. I thought about making one, but we are in the caravan at the moment - no printer! I guess I have to leave somethings behind 🙄
