Addicted to Stamps and More - Birthday Challenge #408

Here's my Birthday project...for Challenge #408 at Addicted to Stamps and More

This is a Plaited fold card - the current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge  and I will link the card there. I have used all the colours in the base, sprays and die cuts. There are a pair of flowers in the background and a pair of larger butterflies and two and a half pairs of Jasmines!

Mrs A gives instructions for Plaited fold cards here and the challenge has the following associated wheel.

The background is formed using Stampin Up's shimmer texture paste through a stencil I found in a charity shop. I then sprayed this with gloss sprays. I added China Blue Distress ink around this.

Hope you will enter the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge! Do hop over to see the fabulous inspiration from my team-mates!

Happy Crafting!

  5. A full house and such a neat idea to place the butterflies on the actual plaited edge. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me. Sorry for the delay in commenting due to family illness. Hugs Mrs A.
