One of my favourite pastimes at the moment is making journal pages - and this involves lots of favourite techniques. But just now give me some gilding foil...
The image I have used is Cat Lady
The Cats are coloured in Peach, Orange and Tangerine, the sentiment in yellow and of course there's the gold foil...

My favourite techniques at the moment involve my journals - I am going to take you through my favourite processes making this page...
My background is pretty much blue and green but the images and sentiment involve all the other colours!
Step One
I love to smear paint across a page with a silicon brush. This gives such a thin translucent layer.
Step Two
Great fun to apply black and white paints through stencils.
Step Three
Always like to do a bit of stamping!
Step Four
Next a bit of colouring with my markers, for the images and the sentiment. And a bit of fussy cutting!
Step Five
Oooh - some gold foil...
Step Six
Finishing touches with pens...
