WOYWW #757

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #757

SO here's my desk!

Not a lot to share as we had Ollie for 48 hours on Monday and Tuesday - and the rest of the week has been equally busy for some reason!

On my desk - I was making a Birthday card and so needed to use the stamping platform. You might be able to see a couple of candles on the right hand side - I added images stamped on tissue. I wanted one of theses to go in this exploding box which I mentioned in the Gecko Galz post below:

On Facebook today were some drone shots of our house block two years ago:

So I suggested Kevin do some drone shots today. This was one:

You can see the kangaroo and koala on the mulch in the front garden!

Happy Advent!

Wishing you a happy week...and hope to get around to you all this week...
Happy  WOYWW!

  1. Hi Susan. I thought I'd finally come out of the shadows...been thoroughly enjoying seeing what you've been up to for awhile and look forward to your posts. I know you well from Gecko Galz, but never really looked at your blog til recently. I enjoy the desk shots (and I'm not a member of WOYWW, tried it once and it's way too time-consuming for me as I'm just slow). And today, I see the roll of toilet paper and THAT"S GENIUS! I'm going to steal that idea. Happy Advent! XOX, Aimeslee

  2. By now you're in the pool, exercising like a demon...sorry about the link hash up...I genuinely don't know what I did or didn't do!! Anyway, fascinating exploding box SUsan, how fab that is. I really would also like to think that the words on your beautiful CW page could apply to me, but modestly!!! At very first glance I thought you were arranging your ink bottles in a Christmas tree formation at the back of your desk....still time!! The drone shots are awesome, look at the community that has sprung up around you, amazing. Love that I could pick out your place by the yard lighting!

  4. Wow that featured page you have there is stunning!! I thought it was an atc till I saw it on your desk. So funny to think of you with kangaroos at Christmas - perhaps he should have a red nose? Those drone shots are amazing, such a lot has changed in 2 years. I'm looking at that pop up box and thinking that may be the way forward for my son's 30th. I did a huge album for my daughter which took forever but I don't have anywhere near the same number of photos for my son so that might be a solution - smaller but different (Not that he'd give a hoot but I'd feel guilty if I didn't do something). Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindyxx #12

  14. OMG! I get excited when I see a hedgehog in the garden. I can't imagine seeing a kangaroo. That is a really cool progression as captured by drone. Love it. And as I am a little late (knitting mate yesterday) I got to see your cute cards. So much fun! Love the box too. Been ages since I thought to make one.
    Happy (late) WOYWW!
