WOYWW # 759

It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #759

Here's my desk!

On my desk - in the middle left is the Art By Marlene stencil Advent Calendar - my intention was to use each stencil day by day - but that will be for the New Year!!
On the desk easel is a journal - one page from a while, the other which will be blogged soon.
You might also be able to see sets of watercolours and a tear off easel card - but more often than not I use upcycled plastic lids like the one dead centre.

Recently I organised two more ATC swaps - these had the theme Poppies - and the sets have begun to arrive with the recipients. I wanted to try and get them in the post before the Christmas rush gets too bad.
These were the two sets each containing contributions from 8 other people:

These were mine, top right in each set.

Finally my daughter and I finished the 3000 piece jigsaw - I wanted the dining table free!!

However for Kevin's Birthday (the 13th) we just put cloths over the pieces and partially completed jigsaw:

Wishing you a very happy Christmas... and hope to get around to you all this week...
Happy  WOYWW!

  1. WOW, that is some jigsaw! Well done.

  2. Happy WOYWW = and Merry Christmas. I love how much colour there is on your desk. The advent calendar looks fun. I remember the good old days when I was a member of the Stencil Club in the US, and had stencils sent every month. Had a good collection (hung up in an old wardrobe). Funny how I just have no urge to do any of that sort of crafting any more. I also used to be involved in a lot of ATC swaps - and, again, haven't made any for over 3 years. Definitely saves me money in postage! Love that jigsaw. Well done for completing it. I have started doing puzzles on my iPad, as I like doing them, but don't want the actual physical projects. 13. A stencil advent calendar...only you, and where would you have found time to use each one each day...and complete a mega puzzle and have a family life! Good grief! Anyway, now you have new goodies to look forward to playing with! So do your ATC swappers all come from Australia, or do you have to hope and pray on international post for decent deadlines? Often wondered. Meantime, love and fun to you for a happy Christmas.xx
