March Challenge for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

This is my DT make for the March Challenge

This month the theme is Holiday Decorations

Our guest Sponsor for this challenge is A Day For Daisies

http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/

Please check out the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up for details of all the prizes!!

So...today's bauble card uses Christmas Bulbs - coloured with Promarkers and glitter and fussy cut.

To make the bauble I used an A4 piece of card scored and folded so the the front was 6 inches high. This makes the back slightly less but forms a small straight edge at the bottom to help the card stand up.

I then took the largest circle die that will fit in my Big Shot and cut the card so the front is circular apart from a small portion at the top which forms the fold. I added the top of the bauble using a small rectangular piece of DP. I made the circle where the ribbon is attached using my smallest circular die over the edge of the Big Shot cutting plate so the it made a part circle. I then punched a hole in this for the ribbon.

The paper I used to make the card top of the bauble was from DDD Holiday Decorations

Finally I added the image!

Hope to see your make in the Challenge!!
Kylie commented below that I should enter this in the

  4. Susan, this is an adorable ornament, love the way you've done the hanger. The dots paper looks so pretty with the ribbon, and the colorful antlers of the graceful reindeer just added even more pop! TFS & playing along with the HLS March Christmas Challenge.
