Imagine That Digistamps

Kristy on the imagine that digistamp facebook group
issued the challenge to make something with the
newly released Baby blocks (but not using the sweet giraffe)

I had a set of 6 puzzle blocks in my craft room - so I decided to alter them - first covering them with papers from Beach Combing Papers , adding glitter and then adding the letters from Baby Blocks.

I then tried to use each letter at least once to form names...not easy when there are only 6 blocks with certain combinations of letters!
I think I will be playing with these for a while...

Most of the names are family names but Amelia has been the most popular name in England and Wales since 2013.

Jas and Isa are my grand-daughters...

 Aiden is my grandson.

It got a bit more difficult when I got to Q and Y, X and Z...

Although my sister is Elizabeth...

Then I was down to F - I wanted to do Frank (my Dad) but K and R were on the same block...

Happy Crafting (and playing!)

Post Script:

OK so it was aggravating me that I couldn't spell all the names...so I made a couple more cubes by scoring and folding a net based on 1.5 inch squares plus tabs...

and I could do...

But I still couldn't do everything...

  1. I have some plain blocks but couldn't come up with
an idea for using them. This would work great.
Have a friend who is having twins and this would
be a fun gift for her.
    thanks for sharing.
