Butterfly Challenge #195

This was my last Butterfly Challenge entry and I was delighted to find that it was a winner! Thank you Mrs A!

The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge #195 is E for Easy Edge to Edge Shaker Card.

She shows the technique HERE

The wheel in the Butterfly Challenge is as follows with the colour scheme below

I chose to use Elegant Rose and Eucalyptus.

I followed the instructions from Mrs A until I started embellishing.
I used a  piece of card for the back of the shaker that was the backing from some freebies in a magazine! I embossed this with a script embossing folder.

You might be able to see a butterfly at the bottom through the window.

To embellish I added the windowframe from LeighSBDesigns cut with my Cricut in the Elegant Rose.

I added some penwork.

I then added some diecut butterflies also with penwork.

This is aimed at the 2nd prize Challenge.

I was delighted that Mrs A picked it in her Top 3.

And also Leigh's Challenge

I just discovered I was a prizewinner on Leigh's blog with this card so thank you Leigh!

Happy Crafting!

  2. Hello Susan, well better late than never. apologies for not commenting sooner but my Face book got hacked and took my computer down with it. I had fun and games getting it all back and running. Love your shaker card. Thankyou for coming and playing in the butterfly garden with me. Hugs Mrs A.
