BY THE WAY - I am really appreciating the lovely comments you are leaving me!!

It's Pumpkin Time!

Usually we make pumpkin lanterns for Halloween -
do any of you remember when it was TURNIP lanterns that we made -
before pumpkin became popular in the UK?

Anyway these are the ones my daughter and I made for last year:

Now we are getting ready for this year:

So today I have just got a pumpkin card to show you...
I decided to use this sketch from Your Next Stamp Challenges

I have stayed very close to the sketch...

I started with an ivory card plank and matted and layered as shown. Lovely papers!
Not sure where the base and middle papers came from
but the two outside banners are from Dragonslair!

I then added my image, matted on black card.
The image is from Pattie G, Bats over Pumpkin Patch coloured with Promarkers.
I then added die-cut bats and some gems from my stash...

I will link this to Your Next Stamp Challenges

I made this before I started looking through my photos for the pumpkin lanterns -
what I came across was this photo of ATCs - I obviously had similar ideas this time last year!!

Anyway before I finish for today I'd just like to show you another card I made to the same sketch:

This was for the Dragons Lair Designs Fan Group October Challenge on facebook,
 using a Dragons Lair digi.

Bye for now - see you tomorrow!

Happy Hopping!
