Here is my inspiration for Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge

Do pop over and see my teamies fabulous makes!!

Here's my make:

Once again I have added a month to my Mixed Media Calendar.
I have been making this for a several years now...
The base is a piece of plywood 'burned' with electricity
as detailed here in my blog in November 2015.
I painted around the edge with black gesso.

I added square cards using rings at the top.
These cards will flip over for successive months.
I added a calendar pad at the bottom.

For this August, I was inspired by the words on the Walk of Art
 at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

I used a Tim Holtz die to cut August several times from my gelli plate pull which formed the main part of the page.
I embossed a jelly fish (Visible Image stamp) in white on this and trimmed it to size. Behind this I added a turquoise square of card.

Hope you will join the challenge!!

Happy Crafting!
