Hiding in My Craft Room #364 - August 4th - Use 3 colours

Do pop over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

Here's my make for HIMCR #364 - Use 3 Colours

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

The sponsor is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

The giveaway is 3 digital images from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps!

Here's my card:

Recipe:

1. I have used a 4 in wide strip from a red 12 by 12 to make a simple gate fold card base
2. I coloured the image Butterfly and Flower with my three main colours fuchsia, blue and orange/yellow and cut this out. I attached it to a blue 'retro' frame - this is a sissix die, but I trimmed the result so that it was slightly smaller. I used some of the red card behind it.
3. I matted and layered the base with fuchsia card and then a trimmed floral paper - freebie from a magazine. I added the frame on the front right so that it would overhang the front left when closed.

This card uses all the elements of the current Butterfly Challenge #105
- spin the Wheel with the letter F. I tried my best to match the colours by holding card against my computer screen, I have four folds, flowers and a frame - and of course a butterfly...I will link this card to that challenge!

Hope you will enter the HIMCR  Challenge!

Happy Crafting!

  2. Ok try again. A nice surprise as
I was expecting the card to open up the other way and also the flap is shaped too. Wel done on getting all of the elements on the wheel. Thankyou for coming and joining in my challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
