Día de Muertos

I came across a card I had made some years ago, using the spotlighting technique of colouring.

It reminded me that I haven't posted any makes for

Día de Muertos

and it is already November 2nd.

I decided to make another triple tier slider card and actually this one slides the best as it has only minimal decoration on each tier.

The '12 by 12' I used was a page from The Works 'Magic Moments' paper pad.
I uses Happy Horrors from Oddball Stamps, printing the image and colouring it with Copics - remember I used it in this PL that I blogged a week ago...

I added this so that the balloon ended up on the third tier, drawing in the string with a fineliner.
I then added some die cut sugar skulls (unbranded die) - the third one just peeping out of the top tier.

I will link this to Dream in Darkness Notorious November!

Just been reminded of the Oddball Art Stamps November Challenge so hope it's not too late to add this...

I also made an altered paintbrush the other day which I think has a feel of

Día de Muertos

What do you think?

Happy Crafting!!
