WOYWW #704

       WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #704

Anyway here's my worktable:

I was making a quick card...and then a tag...

Those Noolibird stamps were still sitting on my desk and some of the leaves I made for the journal page I shared last week...

I just put the things together and ended up with this:

I added some buttons I had made from bookpaper, tied with rafia.

I am hoping that tomorrow I will finally get an email connection to this house - but I am not holding my breath! So far I have had 3 cancelled appointments... I should then be able to upload pictures easier, comment more easily and everything else. Hotspotting from my phone is not efficient!

To finish - a picture of our grandson Ollie, who is now 15 months old. He seemed to like playing with Grandma's handbag!

Anyway, all for now - see you next week...

Happy WOYWW!

Beccy's Place: A Month of Holiday Cards Challenge - G

I have just discovered Beccy's Place: A Month Of Holiday Cards Challenge - and it's in its 10th year!

I will definitely look out for it next year - and I will try and add a couple of cards this November. Next time I will try to do it day by day...

This card follows the G prompt - G is for Gnome.

I have had these gnomes on my desk for days - finally today I have made a card with one of them...This card is based on an idea from Hillbilly Scrappin'.

I used a bronze card base matted with a paper from Echo Park Gnome for Christmas, and then with a layer of white card.
I then added a strip formed by another couple of papers from the same paper pad, adding it at an angle.

I added a  gnome from Scrapbookingncraft and a sentiment from Echo Park ephemera.

Finally I added the red nose.

I will add this to the challenge

Now on to the challenge!
Our Song/Rhyme this fortnight is from Susan

What a wonderful bird the frog are!
When he stands he sit almost;
When he hop he fly almost.
He ain't got no sense hardly;
He ain't got no tail hardly either.
When he sit, he sits on what he ain't got almost.
Anon.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU DO NOT TELL US WHAT INSPIRED YOU, YOUR CARD/PROJECT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRIZE DRAW!

I have made a simple card using Crazy paw frog  inspired by the frog in this crazy poem.

Basically a white card blank, matted with a paper from The Wonder of Christmas by Yvonne Creations. I then added the pre-coloured image trimmed to size.
 I added vintage photo distress ink around the two rectangles
I then added the sentiment from dylusions bigger back chat.

If you haven't already, please join our
to stay up with all the challenges.

Thanks for playing along!
