How can it be Wednesday again? Thank you to all of you who commented on my blog last week - hope I get round to all of you this week!
I am linking to the Stamping Ground!
Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #721
Once more I am at son Matty's in charge of the girls - so my desk is the dining table. I thought I would have a go at the Wanderlust workshop by Mary Beth Shaw using pencils. This was the next stage:
It seems however that need some other products to carry on - which I did not bring.
The girls have just started going to Lapidary Club - usually with Nana - last night I went too (grandma!)
We were splitting thunder eggs to see what they might reveal and then polishing the faces. These were mine - I did not quite finish polishing!:
Today the girls had a pupil free day - so after going shopping and a lunch of sushi and bubble tea we came home and made candles...
Although I am not at home to see how the landscaping is going on I do see regular images from the smart doorbell camera:
And I get reports from son Dan, Lizzie and Ollie who are staying in my house while they are renovating.
Wishing you a happy week...
Glad you are able to keep in touch with the landscaping progress Susan. Looks like you are having lots of fun with the grandchildren. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteThat's a great way to keep in touch, through the doorbell camera! Looks like you're having fun with the grandkids. Happy WOYWW Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute little one. I love how you are doing so much crafting with the grandees. Bet they love you going to stay.

Wow - you are packing in the fun! Sushi and bubble tea would have been a winner around here too and making candles as well. We did the ones where you poke "feet" into wet sand then pour the wax in. Must have been the early 90s LOL! The doorbell cams are a great way to keep an eye, but ours needed replacing too soon, with no cover over the front door. Grrr. Enjoy your grandkiddies and lovely start to your page, on the road. well done.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW, but sadly catless

Fun post, enjoy all the excitement. They look like they are enjoying every minute. Happy WOYWW Have a great week
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a love time with your Grandkids - I love the idea of a Lapidary class - it would have been right up my street when I was a child - in fact I'd join one now if we had one! It's a great idea to keep in touch with things through the doorbell camera.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week,

ReplyDeleteLapidary club! Brings back memories of when my brother was little and collected rocks, and he got a rock tumbler for Christmas one year, lots of fun! He grew up to be a geologist! So nice to be with your grandchildren, having lunch and making candles, awesome! I especially like the cutie at the end! Have a wonderful week! Lindart #16

How lovely Susan, you with the bigger girls, the littlie staying with you when you’re there, heaven! a and lots of lovely dark rich soil going on your garden too! love the doorbell cam view! It may be a bit frustrating to not have the right stuff with you to finish the pages, but you’ve got plenty of other distractions…the thunder egg has a lovely surprise inside. Bet you enjoyed the club!
