It is Wednesday so I am linking to the Stamping Ground
Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #753
SO here's my desk!
I have just been gel printing to make some backgrounds.
The journal page on the table easel is from the virtual retreat last weekend.
This was from Karen Richardson's workshop.
I also did another based on Tammy Klingner's workshop.
While we were looking after the granddaughters, I spotted a papier mache lantern to make using a balloon and serviettes, on Facebook. Jasmine and I made a start on making them - this is mine:
The weather had been pretty weird today and yesterday - sunshine and blue skies then thunderstorms. My daughter managed to take a photo of the lightning...
And then the rainbow afterwards...
Wishing you a happy week...and hope to get around to you all this week...
Happy WOYWW Susan. Love the journal pages especially the bright one (good on this dark November morning!) Helen #2
ReplyDeleteWhat fabulous journal pages Susan. Love the drips! Weird weather indeed- great shot of the lightening. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
ReplyDeleteGreat pages! Reminds me I need to upgrade my tiara. The little lamp is cute. Seeing the actual 'forks' of lightning (rather than just a flash of light) is always so exciting. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx #5
ReplyDeleteYour Journal pages are brilliant and I can't wait to see how you use the gel prints. Love the weather pics! Hugs, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteGreat pages here! You have definitely been quite busy! Happy WOYWW!

Love the crazy orange and purple colours in your journal, so bright and beautiful - my favourite, however, are the blue pages on your desk, so gorgeous!

Fabulous pages and lantern, hugs, Lori m
ReplyDeleteWOW those two contrasting weather photos are amazing. Loving your journal pages too, love the richness of the Sassy one and the melancholy feel of the other one. Still hoping farther Christmas brings a gelli plate Hugs BJ#16
ReplyDeleteI love the colourful happy journal page! the other one looks a little sad, but is also lovely. I love the lantern! Looking forward to when Jasper and I can do crafts together! And the two photos are awesome, perfect! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #18
ReplyDeleteLove the journal pages, hope you enjoyed your retreat. The lightning photo is cool. Happy WOYWW! Elle #10 this week
ReplyDeleteDon't they say that about your neck of the woods - 'four seasons in one day'...lightning bolts like that are pretty awesome aren't they. The really awesome part is that there was sunshine and a rainbow afterwards...kinda like an award for putting up with the storm! Love the journal pages, your name is synonymous with colour in my head. And I love the way you casually say that you've 'just' been doing some gel printing. For me it would be a big deal, whole blog post, not getting over myself for a while!
ReplyDeleteLoving your gel printing, I'm still very new and scared of it! I have the 'stuff' now though, so watch this space....I've made a few covers so far and...chopped some papers up to make tags and atc's. Sorry I'm sooo late, this time it was my mouse, no curser! I mean....what else can go wrong!!?>Have a happy WOYWW week ((Lyn))#17
