My scheduling seems to have gone a bit haywire today - so this is later than other days -

still before 9am Pacific Time which is each day's deadline!

I have used another Bugaboo stamp today Scene It Halloween Witch

I started with a square Kraft card blank matted and layered with various papers and orange card.

The papers I found in the recent copy of Cardmaking and Papercraft - and although flimsy, they are excellent designs. (My guillotine was not too happy with them and I has to use a roller type glue.)

My sentiment was printed on the computer.

Halowe'en has always been celebrated in my family - it is my sister Liz's Birthday.

This year she is 65 and I just wanted to share her invitation card with you:

Today I have just made a quick and simple card based on this sketch from

Seems a Little Sketchy

I matted a black card base with some paper from Lelli-Bot Gothic Grunge collection.

I then added a triangle of this gorgeous orange card that I bought in

 Mary Rose in the Market Hall in Derby.

I also used this to mount my image Halloween Poem from Bugaboo,

coloured with a few Promarkers, and fixed with dimensionals.

Lastly I added a  spider (from Wilko!)

Sketch~N~Scrap October Card Challenge #1

Yes SNS has another card challenge - starting today!

This time it's a sketch:

I rotated this through 90 degrees to make this DT inspiration:

I love the sentiment - from  Doo Lally Pip 'Create'.

The flowers I found hidden in one of my Mum's cupboards - I just cut them apart

The feather and butterflies are from Lelli-Bot Gothic Grunge.

Hope you will have a go at the Sketch - certainly lends itself to Halloween...

Imagine That! Progressive Challenge - October

Everyone who played last month was emailed this month's digi set called "Let's Squash Cancer" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, however this digi is versatile in that it can be used for all types of cancer. 

I decided to make an ATC using the coloured version of the elephant.

I printed the image 'wallet size' and the sentiment even smaller.

I cut out the image and stuck it to a 2.5 by 3.5 inches rectangle of pink card. 

I added the sentiment to some darker pink card and fixed it with dimensionals.

I then added a felt bow and a few buttons from my stash.

I had intended today's card for yesterday -

 if Friday's posts contain Smeared Ink images then they are up for more prizes!!

But I decided enough was enough!!

This card uses two digis:

Hallo Kitty Single Digi from Smeared Ink

and

'If a witch...'from Digi Digi Doodles

and it is actually a freebie at the moment from Blue Moon Crafting Station

I love the Hello Kitty image - I have used it lots - usually in monochromatic creations.

As you can see I have chosen to just use black and white and greys here...and fussy cut Kitty.

I added Grey Promarker to the broom...

Lots of matting and layering - grey corrugated paper and papers from

 Lelli Bot Gothic Grunge (as are the black roses).
