A year of ATCs??

Woohoo!!
I have just brought Mum home from hospital!

In the last week or so I have had very little chance to get into my craftroom -
but there is one thing I would like to do in 2017...

Try and post a new ATC each day!

I have been so impressed with those of you who have done 100 consecutive ATCs -
a year of inchies, a year of twinchies
or some equally amazing achievement...

So yesterday I posted this one

Today I have made this one:

Very very simple - just a couple of layers of DP plus some wooden embellishments
(the idea may seem familiar as it is reminiscent of some of the cards I have made recently!)

On the 9th Day of Christmas

I am diverting again for my 9th Day - another DT make...

This is my DT make for the November Challenge

This month the theme is Out With The Old/ In With The New

Our sponsors  Ike from Ikesart

I have used It Wasn't Me from Fleaz Navidad which is my new item, coloured with Promarkers!!

http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/

I have used a paper from the Bokeh Set - which is my old item...

I started with a white crad blank, matted with yellow, then the DP...

I then added the image and an assortment of die cuts.

Please check out the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up for details of all the prizes!

Hope to see your make in the Challenge!

House of Cards January Challenge

This is my latest make for the Design Team of House of Cards

 Here's the challenge!

Add a building and/or colours...
I used this end of the spectrum:

and my building is that of a bee!!
Here's my card:

I used the sort of trifold card base where you can put a photo - instead I put a piece of DP, part of a honeycomb die cut  and a bee die cut in the aperture.

I added a stamped sentiment, die cut with a stitched rectangle to the bottom left.

Find this and more cards using the Honeybee Haven Collection from Craftstash
 of stamps and dies
in my video here

Hope you will join in the Challenge!

Happy Crafting!

On the 8th Day of Christmas

I am diverting a little here for my 8th Day - this is my DT make for Crafty Hazelnut's Extra...

Starting early with my Christmas cards means I am organised come November -

 well hopefully!!

This is my first Design Team make for the January Challenge of

Bugaboo Stamps are proud to sponsor this challenge - they are offering four digital stamps to the randomly selected winner.

The image is Crabby Cat Christmas, coloured with Promarkers, a little glitter glue and then cut out.
I used this on a scrap of yellow card, matted with DP from my stash.
I then added some tree embellishments to make an ATC.

I will link this to Wicked Wednesday Challenge #241

I then featured this ATC on a card:
I used a white card blank layered with scraps of the same yellow card and DP, the ATC, and more wooden trees.

Do have a look at the other makes to inspire you over at Crafty Hazelnut's Extra

Looking forward to seeing your make...

Happy New Year!

LOC's final post

We are so sorry to announce that Left of Center Creative Challenges is closing it's doors with today's final post.
Things happen and unfortunately although we have tried to keep it going, we have made the decision to finish on a high.
We are so very thankful to all our regular supporters and LOC fans.
We are also incredibly grateful to all the sponsors who have supported this challenge over the years.
We thank all the team involved in LOC   - both those now and in the past - so much talent!!!
It has been a hard decision to make and we are sorry to have to make it.

The Facebook group will remain open for January after which time it will be closed.

As a final farewell, Bloobel Stamps were our final amazing sponsor, however this will not be a challenge but a chance to leave a comment for our designers, or on the blog to say goodbye. Please pop over and leave some love for Bloobel Stamps too and enjoy these final projects.

I have made a twisted easel card using Presents and Ribbons coloured with Promarkers and cut out, DP from my stash and a Kraft tag with a wooden embellishment.

Happy Crafting!
