Happy Thanksgiving...
This month our theme is Spooky/Give thanks
For this inspirational make I have used images and sentiment from
You will find a similar post on the Oddball Blog and maybe some other posts you will like!
Today's make is a journal page:
I have just been taking part in a 10 day virtual retreat with Michelle Grant Designs
In this I have been making a junk journal - I am now adding different pages...
Recipe:
Step One. I decided to choose a page that was a piece of Patterned Paper that looks like a table cloth or picnic rug.
Step Two. I printed the images and cut them out. I then painted them with watercolours I adhered them to my journal page.
Step Three. I added vintage photo Distress Ink to the edges of the pages and a bit of doodling with a black pen.
Happy Crafting!

This time I have made a fun fold card with closure. Once again this was an idea from
UK Stampers Network Craft and Chat Zoom.
Recipe:
- This started with a white card blank with a slice cut from the front edge.
- I added a layer of black card and then patterned paper (BoBunny Timepiece) to this front piece. I added vintage photo Distress Ink to the edges of the patterned paper.
- I die cut a piece of white card to form the closure. This had a small flap folded across the back end which was glued to the back fold of the card. I added a piece of white card the size of the card base to cover this flap.
- I added matching die cut pieces of black card and patterned paper (with Distress Ink) to this closure.
- Finally I added the sparkly trees.

2021 FALL | WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP - #10
I recently came across the Let's Squash it Embossing Challenge
The current challenge is to Use any Embossing folder and stencilling.
In the two cards I am sharing in this post, I used white card in a Tim Holtz Rays (Sissix) embossing folder. I then used the CAS-ual Fridays stencil By the Beans with Brown Bark Hero Hues ink to add the coffee bean design.
I trimmed these to fit teal card blanks and added more ink around the edges.
I then used Stamplorations (Super Sponsor) dies to embellish the cards.
This card also has a a stamped sentiment using a Joy Clair Designs (Super Sponsor) stamp.
I will add these to the 2021 FALL | WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP!

Gecko Galz Monthly Gothic Challenge - November 2021
The image from this month's Gecko Galz Monthly Gothic Challenge
is a fun one and I have used it on a journal page.
I have been making a junk journal and have been enjoying adding different pages...
I started with this page - A Gelli plate pull using acrylic paint and stencils. I then added penwork in black and white.
I then added the image and a patterned paper behind. I added more penwork and the stamped sentiment. Finally I added some embellishments!
I will add this to the Gothic Challenge
Happy Crafting!
2021 FALL | WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP - #9
Recently I have been doing a great deal of mixed media...
I am enjoying following Carolyn Dube's Playstarter prompts each week - which I am adding to upcycled cardboard sheets. For instance this was from a few weeks ago (helpful):
All year I have been following the Wanderlust classes. Today I finished this one - based on a watercolour lesson with Lorraine Bell.
I will add this to the 2021 FALL | WINTER COFFEE LOVERS BLOG HOP!
As always after 'finishing' a page, I take a photo and decide if I need do some more. In this case I decided the shadow of the mug should be longer...
