CHNC challenge 590 for 16 April 2022 - include a house or other building

A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Add a house or building'.

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

For this card I used the Hero Arts Large wooden stamp 'House and Home Background".
I used embossing powders in two colours to stamp it twice and then used circular dies to cut a n aperture from the kraft card blank and small circles from the green version. I then layered the mages up as shown adding black penwork and the two black die cuts.

Happy Crafting!

The Birds' Bath

By Evaleen Stein

In our garden we have made
  Such a pretty little pool,
Lined with pebbles neatly laid,
Filled with water clean and cool.

When the sun shines warm and high
  Robins cluster round its brink,
Never one comes flying by
But will flutter down to drink.

Then they splash and splash and splash,
  Spattering little showers bright
All around, till off they flash
  Singing sweetly their delight.

Here is my inspiration:

I used the image Silly Birds

Just a very simple card using the image, printed on map paper, and added to a black glossy card blank.

Hope you will join in the challenge...

Our challenge this month  starting on April 15th is to use Spray inks...

I printed the image, coloured it with markers and cut out.

I glued it on a teal glossy card blank and added the buttons.

I didn't add a sentiment as I thought this card could be used for a variety of occasions.

The image is the Cherry Cupcake

Hope to see you in the challenge...Happy Crafting!

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme -

I used the top row and the right hand column Lagoon/Glacier/Mulberry and
Mulberry/Mint/Avocado

The image is from Karen Yates at Michelle Grant Designs - it was just handy on my desk!
I used scraps and embellishments from my stash to make this little ATC, colouring the image with shimmery watercolours.

ATCs - Creative Warriors Inspiration Team - Post #8

This is my next inspiration for the Creative Warriors Inspiration Team 2022 - Term 1

with Michelle Grant Designs

You will see our inspirational creations on the Facebook Group

Today I have been using Cosmos Minis by Karen Yates

This set is perfect for making ATCs:

I used the images, scraps and embellishments from my stash, and shimmery water colours, printing some of the images on patterned paper.

When I make ATCs I often use them as focal points on cards or journal pages - so when I saw the owl and the cat, I immediately thought of Edward Lear's p and added this page to my junk journal.
