31 Days of Halloween 2026 Day 14

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog.

This is my 13th year in succession of participating in 31DOH!

That must be an auspicious number!!

I am joining in with the 2026 Crypt Keepers Countdown to Halloween

This is my Day 14.

Here is the next page in my Halloween junk journal. I chose a tag with a spider on. This was from Conjurer of Dreams.

Instead of a strip of washi I added a tab, plus penwork.

The background paper is from LeighSB Designs Halloween paper pack.

A comment from yesterday from Deadpan Flook mentioned that he was scared by my spider - this isn't the first time it has been mentioned!!

I thought today I would do spiders...

The sentiment was in my stash from Gecko Galz. I embossed many of my spider stamps in black on the paper, some directly, some cut out and put in place. I have quite a large collection from a variety of stamp companies but the tiniest is my favourite.

I usually share a postcard from Vintage Image Craft.

This cheerful 1920 postcard illustration features a Jack-o'-lantern-headed girl witch wearing a dress made of autumn leaves, with bright, vivid colors that truly pop.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Addicted to Stamps and more # 528 Birthday

Here's my Birthday project...for the Challenge #523 at Addicted to Stamps and More

I started with a white card blank matted with shiny magenta paper.

To this I added a layer of pink. On top of this I added the die cut circles, circle over magenta and sentiment.

I used the image from Mystical Beasts, Conjurer of Dreams.

The sentiment was in my stash.

The first one uses an image from the Gecko Galz Monthly Card Challenge

I added the image to layers of paper on a silver card blank.

For this second one I just added an ATC tag to a background from crafterschoice Spooky Background Paper Pack.

I usually share a postcard from Vintage Image Craft.

This striking 1912 postcard comes from a set which shine with a vibrant palette of orange, yellow, black, and white. Adorable kids and spooky Jack-o’-lanterns combine to create the perfect Halloween illustration.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Today I will share the tag booklet I have made for this challenge.

When I was in hospital recently for a hip replacement, every meal was accompanied by cutlery in a paper folder. Of course I kept these to use for crafting!

This booklet used 7 or 8 of these forming pages which flipped over and pockets at each end...

A few days ago I saw on Guillaume's page Jack O'Fanta. Apparently Fanta cans have spooky Jack o' Lantern images. Today I found some in our supermarket:

I used the images on the box to make today's page and tag.
