Help Wanted

Santa needs new reindeer.
The first bunch has grown old.
Dasher has arthritis;
Comet hates the cold.
Prancer's sick of staring
at Dancer's big behind.
Cupid married Blitzen
and Donder lost his mind.
Dancer's mad at Vixen
for stepping on his toes.
Vixen's being thrown out—
she laughed at Rudolph's nose.
If you are a reindeer
we hope you will apply.
There is just one tricky part:
You must know how to fly.

Note:  The theme doesn’t have to be taken literally.  You may use any word or phrase out of it for your project.

I really liked this poem - and I decided to make a card featuring reindeer - you may have seen a similar design of deer on a previous card here and a tag here

I was inspired by Shirley Bampton to design the deer like this!

Using  the image I used for the last Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes 

I again printed it (several times) and coloured it with watercolours, cutting out several sets of holly antlers and berry noses! I also used the accompanying sentiment.

I started with a piece of green card folded and cut to make a long rectangular card blank, using the same green card behind the sentiment.

I then added the holly and using a Micron pen drew my reindeer.
