31 Days of Halloween 2026 Day 31 - Halloween!!

              

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog.

 This is my 13th year in succession of participating in 31DOH! 

That must be an auspicious number!!

I made the house (one of two) after watching a workshop in a swap group I belong to: I used a paper from crafterschoice Spooky Background Paper Pack,  lace, embellishments and some printed images for the doors and windows.

The house opens to form a box: 

I  made journaling cards to go inside the houses - the houses may also have a couple of tags inside too.

The images I used on the page background and the cards are from Lost Coast Designs Cracked Critters - more of my favourite stamps.

Next I needed to add a tag in the back pocket - I have quite a few to choose from:

I usually share a postcard  from Vintage Image Craft.  

AS we are getting lots of little trick or treaters knocking on the door at the moment, I thought I would go with this one...

This from a set of Whitney Publishing Co. postcards from 1920 featuring sweet illustrations of children ready for trick-or-treating, set against a jagged backdrop that adds a spooky touch.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!
