I am combining Day 4 with my Ike's World Challenges DT post.

This is my midway post for Ike's World Challenges!

The current Challenge (#73) is "Tag you're it"

I have used Ike's Witchymou to make a Halloween Tag.
I used the computer to combine the image 3 times and then cut it out.
I added some colour with Spectrum Noir markers.

The base is made of brown card followed by a scrap of Graphic 45 An Eeerie Tale. I printed the verse on the computer, trimmed it and distressed it with Scattered Twigs,
Finally I added ribbon and gems.

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 3

For the last two days Sketch~N~Scrap have been celebrating

World Card Making Day on facebook

They will be celebrating World Card Making all MONTH on their blog!!

Anyway today I am sharing with you my Halloween-y card

that I made as Challenge 3 of the Facebook competition and Day 3 of 31DOH.

(I will show you Challenges 1 and 2 at a later stage)

CHALLENGE NUMBER THREE: Using this sketch, create a card that uses FALL COLORS and have it be a THANK YOU, GRATITUDE or FRIENDSHIP themed card.

This is my card, starting on a cream rectangular card base:

I decided to use William Blake's words...

For the banners I used strips of embossed spider web - similar to the one I used on my Day 1 calendar - I never make just one of something like this!! These were layered on some brownish DP from my stash as was the quote.

I then added a spider, a die cut bird and some orange domed stickers.

Blake's words can have either a negative or positive meaning...

I am going with the positive where the web is the spider's home,

the nest the bird's home where the chicks are nurtured.

So Friendship is a nurturing positive place which feels like home...

As such I will link this card to the Path of Positivity Challenge #42

31 Days of Halloween BLOG HOP Day 2

Day 2 - Last month I made a mini- journal...you will find details in these posts

I decided to make another one as part of my 31DOH. This time the theme is 'pumpkins'.

Here is my cover:

This image is Bugaboo's Pumpkin Season coloured with Promarkers and distressed around the edge with Ripe Persimmon.

I liked this ATC from my first journal so much
I decided to use the image again for my first ATC.

It is Vera Lane's October - whimsical girl Digistamp.
I chose different Promarkers to colour it again.

The background consists of scraps from my worktable - DP and a strip of webby lace.
Finally I added a spider embellishment.

LOC Challenge #150

Challenge #150 starts today at LOC "AG Dark/LOC"

I have made two dark ATCs today...

The first uses 'Lucy Loo' Vampire Queen coloured with Promarkers,
cut out and placed on an ATC.

The background is black card - then a snippet of wrinkle free distress from my scraps - then a layer of black lacy net.

I then added the image and a trio of star shaped gems.

The second uses Day of The Dead which I believe is no longer available.

This time the background is black card matted with a freebie paper from
A Bit More Time To Craft
This time my embellishments are some sparkly orange dome stickers.
