Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge December 2021

I am sharing a simple card:

Recipe:
  1. I made a background on on a cream card blank by putting brown acrylic paint through a stencil.
  2. I added three gnomes (Gecko Galz), printed and cut out.
  3. I stamped the sentiment, cut it to pieces and added vintage photo Distress Ink round the edges. I placed these to the left of the card.

Hope you will join the challenge!

Can you believe it is already the 7th of December? I used these gnomes on my December calendar page too. The calendar printout was a freebie online.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge 571 for 4 December 2021 - add wings

A new Christmas Challenge every Saturday!

Today Crafty Hazelnut brings a new weekly Christmas Challenge
with the theme 'Add something with wings'.
My card includes a robin!

Do pop over and see the fabulous inspiration from my teamies!

If you enter you could win a prize...
Every week a prize is given to a randomly chosen winner...

A simple card today... as it gets closer to Christmas my cards become part of a conveyer belt, making lots of backgrounds, then adding to them. As the cost of postage has become so much more expensive I am also making more smaller, one layer cards with fewer embellishments!

Recipe:
  1. This started with a kraft card blank.
  2. I added a layer of stamping using Pumpkin Stazon. one of my favourite Noolibird stamps - the tree, then the script (Finnabair Messy)
  3. I then added the die cut robin (Sissix)... and a googly eye.

Gecko Galz December Challenge

 This month our Challenge theme is

 "Holly & Ivy"
December 1st to the 29th.
Feel free to grab the badge, and share on your blogs.

There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from Gecko Galz!!
It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  It is up to you!!
The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz Shopping Spree

My make for  "Holly & Ivy" is a Christmas gift box - I have upcycled a wine box.
I painted this with green acrylic and then stencilled trees on it with brown paint.

I then printed gnomes from last month's Gecko Galz ATC swap and cut them out, adding vintage photo Distress Ink around the edges.
I also added mushroom diecuts.

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? #652

   WOYWW

Wednesday again, so I am linking to the Stamping Ground.

Follow the link to find out more about What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday and maybe join in... This is my post for WOYWW #652

This is my desk picture for this week:

Actually my desk is the same as last week - nothing has changed! We have been over to stay with our youngest son and granddaughters in East Gippsland for a few days and very little crafting has been done! This is a picture of Matt's cactus garden.

~~~~~~
Well, I have made a few more sock monkeys...
Remember the beautifully wrapped parcels of craft items that I received from Natalie May?
Inside one was an Art by Marlene Advent calendar - today I opened it up and opened number 1! My daughter also gave me the Crafter's Companion one.
I was delighted to receive a prize from that 10 day virtual retreat with
Kevin has made me this year's outside tree from scrap timber. (The picture shows our Advent calendar behind - this was made for our boys about 40 years ago...)
My final picture is the start of our build!
Hope you are all well - stay safe...
Happy WOYWW !! Hope to call on all of you this week...
Patterned Paper Challenge December 2021
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge
Here is my make as part of the Design Team of
 Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!!
a monthly challenge to encourage crafters to use their patterned paper
Do take part as you may win a prize...
This time I have made a fun fold card with closure. Once again this was an idea from
 UK Stampers Network Craft and Chat Zoom. This is the second version of this card - you might have seen the first a couple of weeks ago...
Recipe:
  1. This started with a white card blank with a slice cut from the front edge.
  2. I added a layer of black card and then patterned paper (BoBunny Timepiece) to this front piece. I added vintage photo Distress Ink to the edges of the patterned paper.
  3. I die cut a piece of white card to form the closure. This had a small flap folded across the back end which was glued to the back fold of the card. I added a piece of white card the size of the card base to cover this flap.
  4. I added matching die cut pieces of black card and patterned paper (with Distress Ink) to this closure.
  5. Finally I added the enjoy chipboard made from three die cuts and the embellishments.
Hope you will join in with the Patterned Paper challenge!
