Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge DT

This is today's colour scheme - 

I have used the colours from the bottom row plus black, white and silver.

The weekend before last I took part in a virtual retreat. These cards are based on a work shop by Mel Johns. I have used Distress Oxides, stencils, black and white Poscas and silver embossing powder on the chipboards.

Anyway this was my desk last week - and it hasn't changed much - but several things have been made on it!

Just to share my last week of ICADs - I managed to finish the whole 61 ...

Then these are a few more journal pages I made following the virtual retreat:

I made the following journal page for Michelle Grant's Creative Warriors DT - I was quite pleased with it...

This is my current jigsaw - but oh dear!! I have now replaced the bottom row!

Finally - at last we have garage doors on the house. It looks like handover will be August 29th... Fingers crossed!

I decided to use the same technique to make today's card using stamps from Visible Image.

I have used love-u-giraffe I love this image!!

 

The card is a pale yellow card balnk matted with black then a scarp of designer paper from my stash. I coloured the giraffe with markers cutting the spectacles three times to make a 'chipboard'.

The happy Birthday is a normal chipboard embossed in black.

with the theme 'no stamp or digital image'.

My cards today just use die cuts from birch press design three layer Snowflake.

The first is an evergreen card blank, the second a black glossy card blank.
