Over the HALF WAY mark!!
The knife angel recently arrived in Derby, spreading the anti-knife crime message.
Although not an angel, these exhibits made me think of Leigh's Winter Raven...
I used it on a tag in January in the Poe appreciation hop:
I decided to use it now on my next page in my Halloween scrapbook.
The first layer is a paper from The Other Side by Craft Box, next a paper I had on my computer from Smeared Ink, both distressed around the edges with 'wild honey'.
I then added the tag:
The technique on this tag is Water Stamping with a blended background.
Method:
I then printed the image, coloured it with Copics and cut it out.
The image is Leigh's Winter Raven
Finally I added some buttons.

Currently there is a display of 'Angel' artworks in the Cathedral.

- Make a blended background.
- Ink a stamp with Distress Embossing Ink and spray with water.
- Stamp tag and dry with a heat tool.
- Stamp over tag with Archival Ink - I used Edgar Allan Poe red rubber stamps from Smeared ink - no longer trading.
I then printed the image, coloured it with Copics and cut it out.

Finally I added some buttons.

ReplyDeleteWOW... when you said knife angel I thought it was an angel holding a knife, then I enlarged the picture... THAT IS TRUELY AMAZING! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW. What a piece of art. I love your Winter Raven, a perfect pairing with POE and his poetry! GREAT post today! Happy 31 DOH on the 17th!
