Over the HALF WAY mark!!
I am sharing another page from my Halloween scrapbook.
My page started with a square of pale green card topped with a pea green square printed with a cobweb (freebie from Gerda Steiner) and a spider (Clipart). I added a strip of cobweb ribbon to this and a cobweb die cut in the corner.
(Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry LIVE 2017).
Method:
- Apply Remnant Rubs to tag and peel off sheet to produce random effect.
- Spray Distress Stain over entire surface.
- Mist with water to blend colours.
- Dry with heat tool.
- Wipe excess stain off rubs with paper towel.
- Over stamp image with archival ink.
The technique on this second tag is Glaze Resist.
Methods:
- Use Distress through a stencil. Move stencil slightly and use clear shoe polish through it. Add Distress in 3 colours to craft mat and spritz. Mop up with the tag.
- Or use shoe polish alone through stencil. Then add the distress.
- Add Distress around the edges.
- I added the two fossil stamps embossed in black embossing powder. These images are from Stampendous Fossils by Andy Skinner. I used another of these stamps on the following tag (made at an Andy Skinner workshop a couple of years ago) but I won the stamps in one of Leigh's challenges...
