So far I have shared the following pages of my Halloween scrapbook:
I have used the image to make another page for my scrapbook, printing it, adding colour with Copic markers and cutting it out. I used a paper from the set as a base.
The technique on this first tag is Blended Distress Stamping.
Method:
- Take a large background stamp and ink it with five different Distress Inks (I actually used peacock feathers, salty ocean, dusty concord, picked raspberry and victorian velvet - they seem to have merged into one!
- Stamp tag and heat set.
- Blend two different Distress Inks into the background with a blending tool. I used brushed corduroy and wild honey.
- Add Distress ink around the edge (seedless preserves in this case)
- Choose 5 colours of Distress Ink pads.
- Starting with the lightest shade, load blending tool patting it firmly into the ink pad. Drag the ink onto the tagfrom the craft sheet surface in circular motions.
- After completing the background, spray water into your cupped hand and flick the water onto the tag with a sudden opening of the fingers.
- Add Distress around the edges.
I will also link it to the Polkadoodles AG Challenge Wk 41
