This is my second make for the Cat Lovers Hop
Do pop over and find all the details on Janis' Her Peaceful Garden blog
The theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge is N for a Never Ending card and she gives instructions on how to make one here.
I decided to make a 'cat' version for the Cat Lovers Hop
as I had had so much fun making two previous ones!
(Scroll back through my posts!)
From the front it opens up as a gatefold to the second view. This then opens up to the third and finally the fourth. Then it opens up back to the beginning:
The card starts off with 4 six by three inch pieces of card. I used black card for this. I used a brown paper to mat each section. I then used kraft paper stamped with an A6 Paws background stamp from Hobbycraft with Versafine as the next layer.
These are my four views as I made them...
The stamp I used of the front is a cat with butterfly and tulips from Little Claire, stamped on white and coloured with Copics, then cut to size.
The remaining stamps are from the Catitude Stamp Set - a magazine freebie from last year.
Happy Hopping!
See you on Day 3...
Eeeee !! How amazing. That is super fantastic :-D I tried one of these never ending cards before and got in such a ' mucking fuddle ' hahahaha

ReplyDeleteSo cool, Susan! Especially in a cat version. Can't quite wrap my head around this these days, though. Especially at 5:30 am. Love the stamps! xxD

Oh, this is so fun and fabulous. I've been wanting to try one of these cards for awhile now. Not sure I'll be able to get it done in time for Mrs. A's challenge...
ReplyDeleteAwesome never ending card!!! A lot of sweet and cute cats here! LOVE this! :D
ReplyDeleteJust like kitties... neverending fun!!
ReplyDeleteI've not plucked up the courage to have a go at the never ending card yet - yours is stunning! That set of cat stamps is one of my current favourites - in fact I've just put it out on the table ready for tomorrow's make!
ReplyDeleteYour card is fabulous, my folding is not very accurate so I have never attempted a never ending card.
ReplyDeleteI usually go to an annual retreat with UK Stampers Network where I lead a workshop with a special fold. Last time it was a peek-a-boo card - next time it could well be one of these!!
Deletethis is so wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteWow! Wow! Wow! What amazing project!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun never-ending card. Love that you chose a simple color combo and cute feline images.
ReplyDeleteOkay...that is one amazing card, Susan!! I think I had better leave this never-ending card design to the experts, though....like you....and IKE!!! HAHAHA!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore how all those fabulous cat images work so well on the different sized panels. Well done!!
Thank you for playing along in the #2019CatLoversHop!!

DeleteIve this set too and I love what you did with them.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me to try the Never Ending Card. It's too cute not to showcase all the cats I have in my stash. Great card!
