Brown Bag-It day #2

Today I am sharing my second goodie bag made by upcycling a takeaway bag... you may remember the first:

This time I have added teddy bears in red using my Cricut and free svg files from SVG Files and lots of scraps.
Then I added strips of washi tape.

I will link my bag to Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge #57 Week 2 Brown Bag-it Day

I was also going to link it to Crafting Happiness  but unfortunately that challenge has finished.
Happy Crafting!

LeighSBDesigns Halloween in May Blog Hop - Entry #15

Once again Leigh is hosting a Halfway to Halloween Half-O-Ween Blog Hop - find more details here...

I was hoping to make 20 entries but time is getting away with me - mainly because I am pretty busy sorting the house out...

Anyway I decided to return to my scrapbook today and do another journal page. I am using the chalkboard technique ( I was reminded of this here) in a very quick page!

I started by brushing the page with a Brilliance pigment ink pad in Moonlight White and allowing it to dry.
I used this same ink pad and Wow opaque Bright White embossing powder to emboss several images on the page. I believe these are all Smeared Ink red rubber stamps - but correct me if I am wrong!

This is the colour palette:

I have made a magic iris card using the colours Peach, Peacock and Mint.

When the tab is pulled down at the side, it reveals the sentiment.

I made the iris and flower shapes using my Cricut. The papers come from Alla Prima collection 6" x 6" paper stack, Pretty Pastels Collection and the sentiment from Kaisercraft Full Bloom.

The wheel is as follows:

I haven't tried to follow all the elements - just added the butterflies...

The background paper was from LC Designs and is green although it doesn't look like it in the second picture! I added this to a white square card blank.
I added the coffee ring stamp (Vintage Chic) and the other images (Joy Clair) stamped in brown Archival ink. The sentiment was from an unbranded set.

Finally I added the yoyo - this is how it works:

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2020 Post #7

This is my seventh post in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2020!

In the last three Coffee Lovers Blog Hops, I completed 20 posts, including little competitions with prizes -
This time, we are in the process of moving house - and I am definitely not going to make 20 posts. I will try and make 10 - but I spent all today unpacking my craft stuff into my new craftroom.
Not much time to make anything!!

I am adding trivia questions with the chance to win a prize or two - so please keep calling and commenting - thank you to those of you who have answered the questions so far - hope you are having fun!!

When I posted my grumpy coffee monster pocket letter the other day, Suzanne H commented that she saw a before and after coming up... I wonder if today's make will suffice?

Unfortunately I do not have a printer set up yet - so I can only use what I have available today.

And I had  Leigh's  "Party" Balleigh Monster. coloured and ready to make into an ATC.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/811726895/party-balleigh-monster-set-whimsically?ref=shop_home_feat_2&pro=1

I decided to use this to make an easel ATC - this is a development on an ATC I made the other day - I used the same red striped paper!

Recipe:
  1. Brown card base for original image and also easel (7 by 2.5 inch card scored at 1.75 and 3.5 inches along the long side).
  2. Layers of paper from LC Designs.
  3. Image printed ATC size, coloured with Copics and cut out.
  4. Easel stand made by using stamps from Uniko, stamping one over the other on brown card, cutting them out and attaching the result with dimensionals.

Once again Leigh is hosting a Halfway to Halloween Half-O-Ween Blog Hop - find more details here...

I will also link this to the Something Wicked this way comes post.
