This month's challenge is to make a card using something from your Supplies...

This month's challenge is to use 'see through' papers such as vellum or acetate - I have recently been having a go at stamping on acetate and thought I might use this technique - but then I came across something else. I saw 'Inky Oils' here and decided I must try it!!
Basically re-inker is added to a drop of baby oil on a craft mat - this is then mopped up with card and then the excess oil dried off with newspaper.
Brilliant backgrounds are produced - and because of the oil they are translucent!
(I used this technique on this tag too...)

Here's my card:

I trimmed my background to just less than  4 by 4 inches and layered it onto a piece of 4 by 4 inches black card, having already added a birdcage die to this using a glue pen.

I added this to a scallopped white card blank along with two more dies - these are cut using Craftstash Apple Blosson dies - Birdcage and A little bird told me

Happy Crafting!
