Day 12 of 31 Days of Halloween 2019

Once again Leigh is hosting 31DOH!

Oct 1 - 31, 2019

The Blog Hop  linky party opens Oct 1st at 5 past midnight PDT and ends at midnight on Oct 31st!

For more details go to

🎃 LeighSBDesigns annual 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop🎃

I will be sharing today's Halloween make on Leigh's page...Day 1

~~~~~~~
So far I have shared the following pages of my Halloween scrapbook:
The October image for the Progressive Freebie Challenge at
is an image from
from Polkadoodles
I have used the image to make another page for my scrapbook, printing it, adding colour with Copic markers and cutting it out. I used a paper from the set as a base.
I then added two tags each using a 'chalkboard' sentiment from the set too.
The technique on this first tag is Blended Distress Stamping.
Method:
  1. Take a large background stamp and ink it with five different Distress Inks (I actually used peacock feathers, salty ocean, dusty concord, picked raspberry and victorian velvet - they seem to have merged into one!
  2. Stamp tag and heat set.
  3. Blend two different Distress Inks into the background with a blending tool. I used brushed corduroy and wild honey.
  4. Add Distress ink around the edge (seedless preserves in this case)
The technique on the second tag is a blended background
Method:
  1. Choose 5 colours of Distress Ink pads.
  2. Starting with the lightest shade, load blending tool patting it firmly into the ink pad. Drag the ink onto the tagfrom the craft sheet surface in circular motions.
  3. After completing the background, spray water into your cupped hand and flick the water onto the tag with a sudden opening of the fingers.
  4. Add Distress around the edges.
I will link this page to the Outlawz Challenge.
I will also link it to the Polkadoodles AG Challenge Wk 41
Please pop by to see more of my 31DOH Halloween makes... and maybe answer some of my Spot Prizes - all your names will go in the hat and prize winners will be announced at the beginning of November.
You can still email the answer to susanrenshaw0404@gmail.com
to my question 4 on Day 8 - Hint - look at the paper on the ATCs....
Happy Day 12 of 31DOH!
