Watch your email for this week's image - Halloween Bat!

I have made a couple of tags with this bat... I printed them, coloured them with Copics and cut them out. The photo makes them look a little washed out...

If you are a premium member you also receive Halloween Lovers Premium which I have used in this journal page:

This also uses a paper from Halloween Papers Bats and Bones

If you would like to buy any of Lizzy's Oddball images use my DT code: DTSUSAN10
This coupon code is for 10% OFF the entire Oddball Art Website

So I started my Scrapbook page with a strip of webby ribbon - I used to have lots of this, in all sorts of colours - I am now down to my last few inches of red!! I added a square of red textured paper, the corners of which I 'internal corner rounded'. This used to be my favourite corner rounder - but the punch has stayed on the shelf a while!!

I also added the image combined with the paper from Bats and Bones. I used Craft Serif 2. Once printed I used Copics for colour. I corner rounded this part to match too...

I then added the tags:

The technique on this tag is Paint Dabber Resist with a blended background.

Method:

  1. Ink a stamp using a metallic acrylic dabber.
  2. Stamp tag and dry with heat tool.
  3. Blend a background over the stamped acrylic pattern.
  4. I corner punched the corners and added a bat.

The technique on this second tag is Wrinkle Distress.

Method:

  1. Crumple the tag to make a wrinkled surface.
  2. Open up the tag and smooth it out!
  3. Choose a distress Ink Pad, ideally a dark colour and wipe it directly across the raised wrinkles of the tag.
  4. Spray with water to let the ink run.
  5. Iron the tag with a craft iron until dry.
  6. I corner punched the corners and added bats.
I then added these to the page:

I will link this to Outlawz Challenges Crash Your Stash - corner punches.

Happy Hopping!

Please pop by to see more of my 31DOH Halloween makes... and maybe answer some of my Spot Prizes - all your names will go in the hat and prize winners will be announced at the beginning of November.

Spot Prize 6 - another pumpkin trivia question...

In the nursery rhyme, "Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater" what did he put in his pumpkin shell?
(a) Gold coins
(b) His knife and fork
(c) His wife
(d) Nothing. He ate the pumpkin.
