25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 2 again

This is my third year of participating - I really enjoyed it last year - and the year before!
And when it came to Christmas, I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Day 2 sponsor is Simon Says Stamps

Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...! Usually there are several that I am inspired by. But I don't always have the sponsor's products.

Here is my tag...

I was inspired by Anna-Karin Evaldsson on Day Two with this lovely tag:

Here is my version:

Recipe:
  1. Tag is a purchased Ranger one in cream.
  2. I masked off the base and made a background with Distress Oxides in a number of colours.
  3. I over-stamped the trees, masking the large one to add the smaller ones. The stamps are from Stampin Up's Lovely as a Tree
  4. I added white splatter with Dina Wakley white gloss spray.
  5. I added the sentiment - a punched banner (Stampin Up punch) with unbranded stamp.
  6. Finally I added the sequins and ribbon.

I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!

  2. Wow! This is beatiful! SO much detail on this tiny canvas. PS No worries about creating with different companies' products! We just hope the tags inspire you in some way. :)
