Color Dare Challenge #422

This is another make for the

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme

I used colours from the middle row in Distress Oxides. I smeared these across the Stampin Up trees embossing folder and spritzed them with water. I placed a piece of white card inside and rolled it though my Big Shot. I then left it to dry...

Recipe:
  1. White square card blank.
  2. Layer of background with black Distress around the edges.
  3. Tim Holtz geometric Owl cut in black card, and using double sided adhesive paper for ease of adhering.
  4. Sentiment from Dyan Reavely, stamped and cut into pieces before sticking in place.

Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

Happy Crafting!

  5. Such a clever background Susan. I’m terrible with embossed backgrounds, I just don’t have the head for them but I’m taking inspiration from you here! X

  6. Great technique with the embossing folder and distress inks on your background and love the geometric owl in black, pops but not a distraction to the beautiful background.

  7. I have to use that embossing technique. It totally looks like 'how did you do that' kind of card! When the technique is rather easy (I think). You did a fabulous job with it. and that owl is too much! Love him and that ominous stare. Great card teamie!
