What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #598

            WOYWW

It's Wednesday again - so I am linking this post to the Stamping Ground.

Sorry I have only visited a few of you his week and I am very late today - hopefully I will get back to normal soon...

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 598!

Part-way through a  journal page using my shimmery water colours. I saw a picture something like this on Facebook - this is my version. Almost ready for the penwork!
I also have an acrylic paint journal page at the drying stage...

Not much to show you this week but I have still been joining in with the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and I was quite pleased with this tag:

and this one which was a popup tag...

As I said last week Lockdown is easing slightly here in Melbourne - so we almost had a normal day out the other day... it was quite windy!

Then today was our oldest son's partner's Birthday so we had a little party outside...

And I got my hair cut - second time since February!!

My daughter and I often give my husband little tasks - this was to make a driftwood Christmas tree - and because we all need cheering up we set it up complete with solar lights...

On that note have a happy WOYWW!

  1. I love the idea of the driftwood Christmas tree and it looks great with the lights on! The patchwork page looks very colourful - are you going to do little doodles in the boxes? It reminds me of a project I did when I first started blogging - it's still one of my favourite! Lovely tags too! Happy WOYWW Susan! zsuzsa #20

  9. WOnderful cards and I just LOVE your tree! It reminded me of a tree I saw in Madeira which was made from the staves of wine barrels. We were tasting some madeira at the time, so it looked even more beautiful by the time we had finished!
    Take care,

  13. What a lovely post, so nice to see that you can get out a bit and see your people.love the driftwood tree, it looks so pretty. Just as well that you and your daughter have the occasional requirement, my experience of busy men in a lockdown is one I don’t care to repeat! Love the tags, as no of course the shimmery water colour page, really like the way not all is square....

  14. Oh a cheery post Susan, no wonder you’re running late, al those posts you’ve done in a week, wow what a lot I’ve looked through you must have lots of tags.
I rarely make a tag! Well done on hair cut, I go once a year to hairdresser and cut my own hair in between because I have to save money for crafty goodies somehow!
Lovely desky share sorry I’m late... again... 😁

Thanks for sharing, and God bless, Shaz in Oz.x

  15. Lovely projects this week, Susan! The Christmas tag is great, and your beautiful page too! Thank you for your visit - I've been hopeless this week at visiting people as I seem to have been so busy. Glad you like the carpets and lol at your hubby's glasses/teeth! Haha! At least my hubby didn't say I'd got new teeth!

    Happy very belated WOYWW,

  16. Hello Susan, I am so sorry I am late returning you visit from last week. Your tags are gorgeous and I just love the driftwood tree. Good to hear that things are easing up in Melbourne. I loved it there - visited Aus many years ago and we stayed a couple of nights in Melbourne. Had a wonderful meal with our son alongside the river. Take care, Anne x 16
