What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #599

 WOYWW

It's Wednesday again - so I am linking this post to the Stamping Ground.

I finally managed to visit you all - very late this week - but I am hoping to do better this week. I am actually on holiday in a holiday let in Paynesville, East Gippsland. Now that restrictions have eased we can visit regional Victoria - so we have come over to visit out youngest son and family. So yesterday we picked up the granddaughters from school and were very pleased to spend some time with them...

The holiday house is lovely - this is what we saw when we arrived on Monday afternoon from the back veranda.

Anyway, although I am away, I am still going to add a post - the numbers are getting so momentous - 599!

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 599!

As you can see I am in my 'messy area'. Last weekend I took part in a virtual retreat with Hillbilly Scrappin'. We had two workshops with Niamh Baly.
Her first one was to use an old pair of jeans to make an apron - in the above picture it was midway through the painting and stencilling.
I took the following picture when it was finished and dried.

Another workshop was to make the following page inspired by Tanya Froud.

We were inspired by Michelle Grant to make a number of pieces - the following are two:

The next journal page was inspired by Mel Johns.

As you can see we had a very busy weekend and these are not all the makes!!

I will finish with my watercolour from last week which ended up like this:

Have a happy WOYWW and see you next week...!

  5. Hi Susan. Oh my goodness - what a lot you achieved in a weekend! And such lovely makes, too. I think, of all of them, I like that last picture the best - the candles - what a superb Christmas card that would be.
Great for you to have a holiday - and in such a beautiful location. Enjoy the kangaroos - and especially - the grandchildren.
    Take care. God bless.

Love all your makes Susan, you are so lucky to have so much creative time. I really like the idea of the old jeans apron, how clever and you wear it so well.
