I have added 'Holly' to my card.
Yesterday I joined a crafty Zoom meeting with friends from the UK. Ina led us in a little workshop to make this card - it would be a brilliant design if you have some kids who want to play...

A 4in circle was divided up into sections and each part was covered with doodles, and then coloured. This was then added to a white card blank matted with a layer of embossed card.
A little black card was added for the top of the ornament, a scrap of ribbon and a bow.
Finally I added the sentiment, stamped on white and placed on green card.

~~~~~~~
So let's celebrate Halloween!!
And we are almost there!!
I am just sharing a couple more pages of my Haunted Houses poem book.
This illustrates the poem Haunted Houses by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
So far you have seen these pages:
Today I have these to share:
I have used Smeared Ink stamps  stamped directly onto the marbled backgrounds. On the left I added some more images stamped on a yellow paper and some Oddball skulls. I finished this page with a bit of penwork. On both pages the verses were trimmed and then had black soot Distress Ink around the edges. On the right hand side I added a Dyan Reaveley edge stamp and two more ghosts.
I will add these pages to Leigh's Linky!
And I am also very pleased to be participating in the Countdown to Halloween Blog Hop
Finally I will just add a photo of my makes so far... The box was intended as a Halloween scene but I am a little behind with that!
My husband made the candlestick for me. I want to get a black candle for it...
Happy Hopping!
Cat Lovers Hop Day 5
This is my fifth and final make for the Cat Lovers Hop...
 I am joining in with the 2020 Cat Lovers Hop
Do pop over and find all the details on Janis' Her Peaceful Garden blog
Anyway like last year, I thought I would share another vintage Halloween
postcard from Vintage Image Craft
If you have visited my blog before, you may know that I like to make never ending cards.
I decided to make one for this post!
These two pictures show the first and last faces:
I have uses Dyan Reavely edge stamps, and cat stamps that were a magazine freebie. I used kraft card to make the base and matted this with papers from Crafterschoice Bohemia Botanica.
I added most of the cat stamps on top of small die cuts in Kraft and white card.
This is a little video of how it unfolds:
I will add this card to the Cat Lovers Hop
Happy Hopping!
Color Dare Challenge #418
This is another make for the
Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!
This is today's colour scheme
I have used the top row plus black and white.
This started out as a white card blank matted with the black then a paper from Stampin Up.
I added the Dyan Reaveley image, flower  and edge stamps with a little added colour from markers. I then cut out the sentiment words and added them randomly down the side.
This is based on cards that I made during the September virtual retreat that I attended.
Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...
I will also add this card to Lost Coast Portal to Creativity Furry Friends
Happy Crafting!
~~~~~~~

So let's celebrate Halloween!! And it is almost the witching hour!!
Do join in - with even just one post!

I am going to start by sharing a vintage postcard from Vintage Image Craft...

Yesterday I put my Halloween bunting up - you might remember it from previous years!

Today I started by doing an online Collage workshop with Peninsular Papercraft Boutique.
One of the techniques was to use juxtaposition of collage pieces.
I made this which I think is quite spooky.

~~~~~~~~~
Later on I made a Halloween wreath to go on the front door screen.
It is basically a polystyrene ring wrapped with Halloween fabric (cut into strips and pinned).
I then added ribbon and various embellishments (mainly old Halloween earrings!).
I will add this to Leigh's Linky!
I am also very pleased to be participating in the Countdown to Halloween Blog Hop
