Image Transfers

I have done quite a few image transfers now,

using either photos (or images) printed with my inkjet printer, or magazine pics.

Some have been more successful than others!

You might remember this one I did in May - a picture of me from 20= years ago

This week I have done another journal page using a recent photo of me.

To transfer the image I used paint, gesso and matt medium.

The kraft journal pages were prepared initially with stencils and acrylic paint, stamps, penwork, and washi.

Finally I added the moulded leaves - these I stamped with sky blue archival ink, die cut and moulded with Creative Expressions Leafy Accents products. I added gold Inka Gold on the top.

I then moved onto this journal page:- the image is a freebie from

Gecko Galz Challenge of the Month

The background was put together with layers of acrylic paint including some black around the edges.
I then transferred the image using paint, gesso and matt medium again.

I added the sentiment by stamping the letters with some kids' stamps.

Happy Crafting!

  1. I just had to hop here and see your GG page better. It's awesome, love the "worn" vintage look you have created.
