The freebie is the sentiment above - I have used the whole Premium Set.

This week I decided to make a flying/floating easel card - you may have seen this sort of thing online - I thought because I had a bat amongst my images it would be good to have him flying!

Firstly I printed all the images I wanted to use, coloured them with Copics and cut them out.

Then I started with a white card base and scored this at the midway mark on the front. This will stand up to make the easel. I then covered the flat layer and this easel part with paper - from Ultimate Crafts Evening Cocktail 6 by 6 paper pad.

Putting the easel part flat, I cut a rectangle from the right hand side, across the fold,
(using a Tonic ATC die) to form the open bit.
I then die cut several layers of tree (Tim Holtz Branch Tree) and glued them together to make a sturdy tree and trimmed it to just add the branches as shown. In fact I glued the twine in this as I went along, through three branches as they are quite slim. I also chose a flat wide-ish twine rather than use fishing line or whatever as I was worried that the branches would not hold it. I also stuck the twine in place with washi before gluing, to help support it.

I glued the tree in place.

I then added the bat with some plain card on the back and the twine in the middle.

Next I started adding embellishments. The tree trunk is on dimensionals to match up with the thickness of the branch tree. The whole lot will lie flat to go in an envelope. I have pegged it for the benefit of the photograph.

As you can see I have added another pumpkin and lots of leaves.

To attach the bottom of the bat I added the twine behind a scrap of card behind the easel.

After I had taken all the above photos I found another leaf - so I added it to the sentiment:

I had intended making something different for Leigh's hop today but time got away with me - so I will also add this to  Leigh's Hop
