What's on your workdesk #616

               WOYWW

Wednesday again so I am linking to the Stamping Ground today.

Here's my desk picture for WOYWW 616!

This is exactly what it looks like at the moment!
A huge heap of all my coffee/tea stamps as I am taking part in the Coffee Lovers Hop this week. You might be able to see a heart stamp set - that was a dollar from a charity shop earlier today - but then the Circle Cutter is new from a craft shop, also today.
Scissors, pegs, my pencil case full of white paint pens. On the top of my diary half a dozen coffee themed ATC bases.

I 'smooshed' with Distress Ink and then put more ink through a CAS -UAL Fridays stencil - a prize from 6 months ago.

At the weekend my daughter came round so we decided to do some string pulls:

I decided to cut some of mine out for my April diary page.

On top of that not a lot to share. I haven't started on Week 12's Wanderlust yet but this was Week 11...

The tags need to be journaled upon then slid in the pocket. The photo is of my grandparents with teh Christmas turkey.

I have a couple of other workshops in progress but nothing to share yet.

So just to finish we had some visitors drop by by jetski...

They didn't stay long as it was getting dark...

Hoping you are all keeping well...
Happy WOYWW !!

  2. Those string pulls look amazing! I just know if I tried that it would come out like an unholy mess and then I'd drop the string and so on! Sending Spring blessings, Lisa-Jane #7

  4. I admire your string pull technique, seriously - I just know that it would be a complete mess if I attempted that! I hope your circle cutter brings you joy, I’ve used mine a lot already.

  16. Love the coffee theme, better for me than actually drinking it - LOL. And the string pulling, never tried that either, it's on my list now...
Sorry I'm a bit late this week but I was digging a pond Wednesday then food shopping and trying to source some plants yesterday whilst the boys replaced some fence panels then I had to go clear up the garden AGAIN. Thanks for the visit BJ#9

  17. Good morning, Susan. Lovely pieces. I've had an itch to do a pour or two. I think Spring pulls lend themselves to spring/ easter themes as they create a lily effect. So pretty. I hope you'll show a closer shot of those ATCs or link us to the post they're on. Would love to see what you've created Creative Blessings ~Kelly #29

  18. Thanks for the beautiful sunset. Gorgeous!
Love the tags. I have not yet tried that string pull - always intend to but never do get around to it - maybe now?
Sorry I am so late but back is really bad plus I have had 267 spam comments to delete since Wednesday. So time consuming, especially when you don't feel like bothering. Someone obviously is targeting me.

  19. I absolutely love your coffee bean cards, Susan! What fun. String pulls are not something I've ever tried but the results are beautiful. A gorgeous sunset, too.

Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you enjoyed seeing our kitties when they were tiny! I can't believe they were that small once - they're both such heavy great lumps these days! Also I'm glad you are enjoying my recipes. I'm pleased to have sorted the almond pulp problem and am now making satisfactory hummus again.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  20. Such a fun post. Love all the photos, Great window view, I'm anxious for "Green" Lots of rain and wind but it cleans up the area. Haven't done string art for quite sometime, great ideas there. A little late with the visit, but between 2 days of router issues and time away I'm still trying to get printers in sync. Thanks for your visit. Enjoy the weekend.
