LeighSB's Spring Blog Hop 2021- Day 16 - March 22nd

 This is another post for

 LeighSB Designs spring-blog-hop-2021

This is my Day 16!

Yesterday I linked up pretty early - so I am trying to be a bit later today...

For some reason, I keep singing 'The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring, Tra la...",  so I am making something with Spring (or early Summer) flowers on it.

At the weekend my daughter came over so we decided to have a play and do some string pulls.
It reminded me of the sentiment in the middle of this collage page in one of my journals...

Anyway here are some pictures from our string pulling:

Now that these are dry I decided to use my 'irises' on my next calendar page.

I layered the calendar on a piece of a Gelli pull (gesso and alcohol inks) and added a torn strip of this behind the flowers. I added a little distress to the top of this.
I cut oout the irises and added them to the background.

I will add this to LeighSB's Linky
