LeighSBDesigns 31 DOH Day 19

During October you will see many Halloween-y projects on my blog as I am joining in with

 So let's celebrate Halloween!!

As usual I will add daily retro Halloween postcards from Vintage Image Craft

This magnificent Halloween postcard set was illustrated by Jason Frexias in 1915. STUNNING!

I like to share something old and something new - in 2016 I made two mini-journals:

Inside one of these I placed two of these ATCs

The bases are Halloween fabric, glued to card and cut with a Tim Holtz ATC die.
I added the card corners cut with the same die.

The images were from Bugaboo with the odd googly eye and foam sticker.

My new make... a Steampunk Halloween card. I started with a bronze card blank and added two layers of Gel plate backgrounds.

I added the Steampunk spider image from Gecko Galz Monthly Steampunk Challenge

I then added the gold embossed steampunk fly, the Halloween die cut and the key.

And as always I like to add the skeletons hopping!

Happy Hopping!

  1. Great steampunk Halloween card! This reminds me of the Spider and the Fly poem- "will you walk into my parlour" said a spider to a fly. Happy 31 Days!
