25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 17 revisited

I came across this for the first time last year - and really enjoyed it  - and when it came to Christmas I had more than enough tags made!!

It is hosted by Tracey McNeely and you will find the main hop post here
She works really hard to organise this hop and secures many sponsors!

Each day I will CASE or be inspired by at least one tag...!

And although I am just about up to date there are still days I would like to revisit - this is one!

Day Seventeen showcases Pretty Pink Posh as sponsor.

Again I will have to look in my stash for similar products.

Anyway this is Sharna Waksmulski's tag on Day Seventeen!

Here is my version:

Sharna's tag is so beautiful - I had to CASE it!!

I started by making the background by adding Distress Oxide (peacock feathers) to watercolour paper.
I then embossed the sentiment (Stampin Up's Warm Words) in gold.

I embossed the poinsettia (Inkadinkado wooden stamp from my stash) white on white.

Finally I added pearls, a scatter of sequins, string and twine.

I will link this to the main hop post

Happy Crafting!
